Osaka Tour: From Den Den Town to Dotonbori – A Monkey Kart Adventure Like No Other!
Get ready for an Osaka adventure that blends classic sights with modern thrills, all experienced from the exhilarating seat of your very own Monkey Kart! Buckle up and prepare to zoom through the heart of Osaka, from Den Den Town’s anime wonderland to the bright lights of Dotonbori and the iconic Tsutenkaku Tower. It’s a ride that promises unforgettable memories and pure fun – your Osaka Monkey Kart adventure awaits!

Nihonbashi (Den Den Town):
start up your motors in Nihonbashi, Osaka. This area mirrors Tokyo's Akihabara and is packed with electronics stores, anime, manga, and all things otaku culture.. As you cruise through the colorful “Den Den Town,” you’ll feel like you’ve entered a real-life comic book world full of pop-culture excitement.

Shinsaibashi:
Next, zoom down Shinsaibashi-suji, the city’s best-known shopping street and an enduring symbol of Osaka. This bustling covered arcade is packed with trendy boutiques, high-fashion brands, and quirky shops. Enjoy the lively energy as you drive under the arcade’s roof, surrounded by locals and visitors on a shopping spree.

Glico Sign (Dotonbori):
Make a dramatic entrance at the famous Glico Running Man billboard – one of Osaka’s most well-known landmarks. For decades, a colossal, brightly illuminated figure has graced the Dotonbori canal. This iconic athlete, bathed in neon light, stands as a longstanding symbol of the city's vibrant character. You won’t be able to resist throwing your arms up in a victory pose (just like the sign!) for an epic photo.

Dotonbori:
Experience Osaka's vibrant nightlife as you ride alongside the Dotonbori canal, the energetic core of the city, on the Monkey Kart Osaka (Route 5) tour. Renowned for its gaudy neon lights and extravagant signage, Dotonbori dazzles with gigantic moving signboards (keep an eye out for the giant crab and pufferfish!). The street is also famous for delicious eats – don’t be surprised if the tempting smell of takoyaki and ramen wafts your way as you kart through this food paradise.
Tennoji:
Then, head down to Tennoji, a district where Osaka’s old meets new. You’ll catch a glimpse of historic Shitennoji Temple and also the modern skyline dominated by Abeno Harukas – at 300 meters, it’s Japan’s tallest skyscraper. It’s a quick snapshot of Osaka’s rich history and cutting-edge architecture, all in one neighborhood.

Tsutenkaku Tower (Shinsekai):
Finally, roll into the nostalgic Shinsekai area to see the beloved Tsutenkaku Tower up close. Rising above the surrounding eateries and shops, the Tsutenkaku is one of Osaka’s most recognizable landmarks, often called the “tower reaching heaven.” This retro tower, glowing with lights, makes for a perfect finale to your tour – truly an “only in Osaka” sight to remember!
